CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS WINNIPEG STAGE IV BREAST CANCER PATIENT

Cancer Crossing has assisted a Winnipeg breast cancer patient who had a double mastectomy leaving her with irritating and painful 'dog ears'. Her cancer has now advanced, and surgery to correct these dog ears is no longer an option for her. She is on extremely limited income (government support) so Cancer Crossing has covered the cost of a specialty tank top that holds the dog ears in place and offers her the comfort she was so desperately seeking.

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS ANOTHER RURAL MANITOBA LUNG CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted another rural Manitoba gentleman with lung cancer. This gentleman is on a very limited income and has been traveling to and from Winnipeg for treatment and further assessment for almost a year. None of his travel expenses have been covered by any plan and we at Cancer Crossing are so pleased we have been able to give him a little bit of help!

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS RURAL MANITOBA LUNG CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a rural Manitoba gentleman with lung cancer. He is on a very limited income and received support for his stay in Winnipeg during treatment, but when his treatment was extended, his housing support was cut off. He did not receive any assistance with travel expenses to and from Winnipeg for treatment either. We are pleased that Cancer Crossing has been able to give him a little bit of help!

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS FAMILY WITH CHILD IN TREATMENT FOR ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a family who has a child with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This family was stretched financially to begin with and the diagnosis and subsequent treatment has set the family back even further. The mother was unable to continue her job as she needed to take care of her son. We are pleased we could offer a bit of help to this family during trying times.
