CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS TEENAGER WITH EWING SARCOMA WITH PURCHASE OF A WIG

Cancer Crossing has assisted a Manitoba family with the purchase of a wig for their teenage daughter.

She has Ewing Sarcoma and is undergoing chemo and radiation.  Her mother was wanting to get her a wig to help her feel more comfortable at school and in public settings.  This girl has a sparkling personality and is amazing and is looking forward to getting a wig so that she can 'feel like herself'.  Cancer Crossing recognizes how the loss of hair is unsettling and overall traumatic especially for a young girl whose sense of self, and self-confidence, are still developing and we are so happy that we can help this family.
