CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS WINNIPEG BREAST CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a Winnipeg breast cancer patient with the cost of a surgical bra and binder. She has no insurance to cover this expense and is off work recuperating. We wish this woman the very best as she continues to recover from this major surgery and are pleased we were here to help her out!

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS COLORECTAL CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a rural Manitoba colorectal cancer patient with travel costs for trips to and from Winnipeg for medical appointments and a required surgery. This patient is on a very limited income and he is finding arranging his travel is difficult and costly. Cancer Crossing is pleased we can offer a bit of relief to this gentleman!

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS LUNG CANCER PATIENT WITH ACCESS TO CARE!

Cancer Crossing has assisted an elderly lung cancer patient from the Parkland Region of Manitoba. She is on a very limited income and the expense of travelling to and from her medical appointments is becoming quite costly. She has no other program by which to assist her with these travelling expenses. Cancer Crossing is pleased to have been able to make a contribution to her travel expenses as she continues to access the care she requires.

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS WINNIPEG STAGE IV BREAST CANCER PATIENT

Cancer Crossing has assisted a Winnipeg breast cancer patient who had a double mastectomy leaving her with irritating and painful 'dog ears'. Her cancer has now advanced, and surgery to correct these dog ears is no longer an option for her. She is on extremely limited income (government support) so Cancer Crossing has covered the cost of a specialty tank top that holds the dog ears in place and offers her the comfort she was so desperately seeking.

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS ANOTHER RURAL MANITOBA LUNG CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted another rural Manitoba gentleman with lung cancer. This gentleman is on a very limited income and has been traveling to and from Winnipeg for treatment and further assessment for almost a year. None of his travel expenses have been covered by any plan and we at Cancer Crossing are so pleased we have been able to give him a little bit of help!
