CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS WITH AMBULANCE BILL

We hope everyone has had a great summer and are looking toward the upcoming change in seasons.

We continue to be 100% volunteer driven and our 'to do' list continues to grow - as do the numbers of patients we continue to support.

We are looking for a volunteer who can keep our Social Media updated - somebody with about an hour a week, who knows how a Facebook Page works (or who wants to learn), and who has writing/grammar skills. Until we find that person, these posts will continue to be sporadic but please know that our patient supports continue to be weekly.  On that topic, Cancer Crossing has assisted a gentleman living north of the Duck Mountain Provincial Park.

He has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He is the primary caregiver to two adult sons with special needs and a wife who has health concerns of her own. He is on a very limited income and recently found himself in a lot of pain and reluctant to call an ambulance due to the cost. Eventually he did make the ambulance call and now cannot pay the bill.

Cancer Crossing has assisted with his ambulance bill.

Cancer Crossing helps those who 'fall between the cracks'.

Please support our cause so we can continue to assist cancer patients! We are receiving many requests.

Cheques may be mailed to Cancer Crossing Inc., 1-1660 Kenaston Blvd., PO Box 70029, Winnipeg, MB R3P 0X6 or you can contribute on our website at cancercrossing.com

Buying our book 'Cancer Crossing' at The Unexpected Gift, 564 Osborne Street, Unit 2, in Winnipeg helps cancer patients too. You can also buy a book through us directly at info@cancercrossing.com

100% of your donation goes to cancer patients. We are all volunteers and all of our operating expenses are paid by Sponsors.

Thank you so much and please remember to let cancer patients know we are here to assist - they can message us through Facebook, e-mail us at info@cancercrossing.com or send a written request by mail.
