CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS TESTICULAR CANCER PATIENT WITH HOTEL EXPENSES

Cancer Crossing has assisted a gentleman from the Interlake Region of Manitoba.  He was diagnosed with testicular cancer and has been on a difficult regimen of daily chemo for 5 days in a row, then once a week for two weeks.
He worked as a farm helper but currently has no income.  He is ineligible for EI as he has not made contributions.  He is applying for EIA but it takes time to get an answer.
He lives with his retired parents 75km from where his treatment is.  He needs to stay in a hotel for the week that he has daily chemo to reduce travel stress.  He is struggling financially and could use some help.
Cancer Crossing is pleased to have helped this man with hotel expenses for the week he will be staying in the community where he will be getting his daily treatment.
