CANCER CROSSING HELPS TORONTO CANCER PATIENT WITH PUBLIC TRANSIT TO EXERCISE PROGRAM

Cancer Crossing has assisted a 36 year old woman in Toronto with Stage IV colon cancer.

She is unemployed having left a full time job to retrain in a different sector.  As she was looking for a new job and looking forward to new beginnings, she received her diagnosis.  She was unable to continue her job search as treatment has taken a physical toll on her body.

She is living with her parents who are retired but has additional expenses as a result of the cancer diagnosis she does not want to burden her parents with.  Specifically, there is a cancer exercise program she wants to join to help maintain some normalcy in her life.

Cancer Crossing has provided this patient with funds to cover her travel to and from the exercise program as the program is quite a distance from her home and public transportation in Toronto is expensive.

Cancer Crossing helps those who 'fall between the cracks'.

Please support our cause so we can continue to assist cancer patients! We are receiving many requests.
