Cancer Crossing provided financial assistance to a man who had been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He had to stay in Winnipeg for radiation. Since his home is in Thompson, traveling back and forth for 3 weeks of treatment wasn't feasible. He is unable to work and awaiting a small EI benefit.
