A young woman who is an international student in Winnipeg contacted Cancer Crossing for financial help to assist during treatment for Stage 3 breast cancer. She received chemo and radiation was next but she is not eligible for any of the usual monetary programs and could not work as she is in Canada on a student permit. Not only that but she has 2 small children. Her husband's pay did not provide for the extra expenses. Imagine the stress on this young family. Cancer Crossing was pleased to provide some help and our best wishes.
