We received a request for assistance for a woman in her late 70s. She has B-cell lymphoma, is single and is living with family while she waits for housing. Her income consists of CPP, OAS and GIS. Her family helps by driving her to Neepawa and to Brandon for treatments and scans and she pays for gas. Due to her limited pension income and the cost of travel to numerous appointments she asked us for help. We were happy to provide some financial help.
