Recently Cancer Crossing was approached to help a man in his late 60s. He lives west of Brandon and has metastatic melanoma. He does not drive and is relying on friends to drive him to Brandon and to Winnipeg for scans and treatments. He cannot afford ongoing costs of travel and medication as he is reliant on a small pension. He hopes to apply for Pharmacare which could help with some costs of medication.
