CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS RURAL MANITOBA LUNG CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a rural Manitoba gentleman with lung cancer. He is on a very limited income and received support for his stay in Winnipeg during treatment, but when his treatment was extended, his housing support was cut off. He did not receive any assistance with travel expenses to and from Winnipeg for treatment either. We are pleased that Cancer Crossing has been able to give him a little bit of help!

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS FAMILY WITH CHILD IN TREATMENT FOR ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a family who has a child with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This family was stretched financially to begin with and the diagnosis and subsequent treatment has set the family back even further. The mother was unable to continue her job as she needed to take care of her son. We are pleased we could offer a bit of help to this family during trying times.

CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS SARCOMA CANCER PATIENT!

Cancer Crossing has assisted a Winnipeg sarcoma cancer patient. This patient had to travel to Toronto for surgery. She lives on a very limited income. She is fairly new to Canada, having arrived in 2014, and was in the process of pulling a life together here when this diagnosis came. We were able to assist with uncovered costs associated with her transport within the City of Toronto.

Cancer Crossing has assisted a rural Manitoba endometrial cancer patient with uncovered costs associated with 33 trips to and from Winnipeg for radiation treatments. Her treatments began January 17th and we wish her well!
