Cancer Crossing assists with long distance travel

Cancer Crossing has been able to assist a man in his 60s, undergoing treatment for rectal cancer. He lives in a small town near Lake Winnipeg. He is on EI sick benefits while he gets chemotherapy and radiation in Winnipeg. His partner is disabled and cannot work. You can imagine the financial pinch they find themselves in as they pay for long distance travel and are on decreased income. Luckily their cancer social worker reached out on their behalf. Thanks to the generosity of Manitobans we are able to assist. In this season of giving please consider making a donation to Cancer Crossing so we can continue to do this valuable work. Cancer Crossing is now a registered charity and we are able to give tax receipts for your donations.
