We received thanks from another rural Manitoban when we assisted them with their travel expenses. The cost of travel to the nearest cancer treatment centre can add up quickly, eating into pensions, savings and sick leave payments. This person was so grateful that they could drive to treatment and not worry about the cost of gas. Their message to others was to not give up hope!
