Interlake man with prostate cancer

Cancer Crossing has recently been pleased to be able to help a man from the interlake area. He is in his early 60s and newly diagnosed with prostate cancer. He must travel to Winnipeg, a total distance of over 2200 km for all the radiation treatments he is scheduled to receive. This gentleman is on CPP disability payments and is not yet eligible for OAS. His wife is also collecting a small CPP pension and is continuing to work to help provide. There is no volunteer driver program in their community. The burden they are both under is considerable, both financially and physically.

You too can help us to help Manitobans with cancer by donating at https://cancercrossing.com/. We are a registered charity and tax receipts are provided.
