Young girl with brain tumour

We were sad to hear of an elementary school aged girl with a brain tumour. She has two younger siblings and they live together with both parents. Her dad has taken time off work to take care of her and is receiving EI-caregiver benefits, which means a substantial drop in income. Her mom stays at home to care for the little ones. The family is struggling to keep up and have fallen behind on some utility payments. Understandably their main focus has been caring for their sick daughter. She has finished radiation therapy and is starting chemotherapy. This is difficult to go through and more so for a child who may not understand what is happening. Fortunately Cancer Crossing was able to provide financial assistance so they could pay their bills. Thank you for your donations for Manitobans living with cancer. https://cancercrossing.com/
