Cancer Crossing has assisted a rural Manitoba woman who has pancreatic cancer. She has made multiple trips to Winnipeg for appointments, tests, procedures and medications resulting in her requiring accommodation here in Winnipeg.
She is not covered under any federally funded program, does not have extensive insurance and is a senior who can no longer work.
Cancer Crossing is pleased to have been able to offer some assistance to this woman for the costs that have been incurred by her family travelling to Winnipeg for diagnostics and treatment, and costs associated with travels to Dauphin for treatment.
