CANCER CROSSING ASSISTS MOTHER OF 5 CHILDREN WITH ACCOMODATIONS WHILE AWAY FROM HER FAMILY FOR TREATMENT

Cancer Crossing has assisted a 41 year old woman from the Parkland Region of Manitoba. A year ago she received a breast cancer diagnosis and more recently, was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

She will need to stay in Brandon for a 10 day period of treatment.  She will stay in Brandon during the week but will return home to her family on the weekends.  She has 5 children with the youngest being 2 years of age. She will stay in Murray House in Brandon but the cost is a financial concern for her.

She is emotionally burdened with her diagnosis and concerns over that in relation to her 5 children and was financially burdened before her diagnosis.

Cancer Crossing has assisted with the cost of her stay in Brandon while she is attending to her treatment.

Cancer Crossing helps those who 'fall between the cracks'.
