Western Manitoba man receives help

 A gentleman from western Manitoba was in need of assistance. His cancer social worker reached out to Cancer Crossing for help. This man is receiving income from a workers compensation claim and his wife is not working. They needed to travel to Winnipeg several times for scans and treatments. This involves taking the bus and staying in Winnipeg overnight due to the bus schedules. Their budget is already stretched tight and a trip to Winnipeg usually cost close to $600, which is beyond their means to pay. Family had helped them but there is also a limit to what family could do.
