A gentleman from the interlake area has recently contacted us for help. He has prostate cancer. Since there are no volunteer supports in his town, his wife will be driving him to Winnipeg for radiation. In total, the many trips to the city will amount to over 5000 km travel. His wife is still working but all the travel means she will not be able to work as much as usual and they need some financial assistance to get through this time in their lives.
