Man travels long distance to treatment

Cancer Crossing was recently contacted on behalf of a man in his 70s, living with lymphoma. He lives with his wife, north of Swan River and has to drive to treatment. Some of his treatment has been 140 km round trip and some has been in Winnipeg, a distance of nearly 600 km one way. Coming to Winnipeg means not only the cost of travel but also the cost of a hotel. He and his wife have modest government pensions which do not stretch to cover these extra trips. Thanks to the generous support of Manitobans we have been able to provide some funds to help pay these costs. You can help others by donating at cancercrossing.com
