38 yr old from the Westman area of Manitoba was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Like many others diagnosed, she had undergone chemotherapy, surgeries and radiation treatment. She took time off work and was still recovering when her Employment Insurance ran out. She was hoping to return to work while taking treatment but found the process too taxing. She was struggling financially to cover the cost of travel, the 25 trips for radiation treatment created an extreme hardship for her. Cancer Crossing was pleased to provide financial assistance to this client.
